Felix Gonzalez-Torres

The eleventh presentation in White Columns’ project space The Bulletin Board – a 6′ x 4′ glazed aluminum bulletin board installed in our entrance lobby – is of a single work by Felix Gonzalez-Torres (1957-1996): “Untitled” (For White Columns), 1990. The work was originally produced as an edition to benefit White Columns. Its re-presentation is part of our ongoing, occasional programming series ‘From The Archives’ which seeks to reconsider earlier exhibitions and individual projects from White Columns’ 37 year history.

White Columns would like to thank Andrea Rosen, Michelle Reyes, and The Felix Gonzalez-Torres Foundation for their enthusiasm and support with this presentation. Felix Gonzalez-Torres will represent the United States at the 52nd Venice Biennale, 2007, in an exhibition curated by Nancy Spector.
