Plane/Structures examines the legacy of the Light and Space movement, primarily in terms of two generations of Los-Angeles based artists whose two- and three-dimensional objects explore the nature of visual perception. Combining paintings, wall-mounted objects, floor-bound sculptures, and elements of installation, the exhibition is meant to illuminate previously unexplored connections among diverse works in Southern California. Including works by Fandra Chang, Mary Corse, Caren Furbeyre, Jeremy Gilbert-Rolfe, James Hayward, Maxwell Hendler, Scot Heywood, Linda Hudson, Liz Lamer, John M. Miller, James Richards, Roy Thurston, Carolee Toon, Alan Wayne, Jonathan White, Pae White.
