Exhibition Description

Roger Welch, Recorded History, high school yearbook, printer’s ink, metal pan, paper 24 inches x 1200 inches

A roll of white paper was stretched out from the back of the ground floor space to the front door, a distance of approximately 80 feet. The artist covered his feet in black printer’s ink and walked on the paper towards the door while simultaneously tearing pages from his high school yearbook. After walking out, the artist didn’t return until the following day and the material existed as temporary sculpture for 24 hours.

This performance followed “Biofeedback Dialogue” on the same evening.
