Exhibition Description

Michael Krugman exhibited wall drawings using graphite, string, pencil, and nails.

He recalls, “At the time of this show, I was a student at the School of Visual Arts and heavily under the influence of certain ‘conceptual artists.’ The drawings were totally formalistic, non-objective, ‘self-referential’, and drawn ‘directly on the wall’. You get the idea.”
