Exhibition Description

Mel Andringa directed a performance if a section from Eugene Ionesco’s The Bald Soprano. The artist exhibited a grisaille painting based on Washington Alston’s Belshazzar’s Feast. For the final section of his presentation, he delivered a lecture, taking cues from a recording machine in which he provided a critique of the recent Performance Series at 112 Workshop.
