Exhibition Description
The viewer looked through a lens mounted in a portfolio that rested on a drawing table. This set-up enabled the viewer to see a slide image of Jan Van Eyck’s Arnolfini Wedding Portrait. In the place of the mirror that appears in the painting, the viewer could see a video image of the back of their own head.
