Exhibition Description

This installation included recent paintings, The Poseidon Sets and a video dance work Chorda. The theme of the paintings was water wave motion. The image could be read up and down or across the picture surface. Sea water seen from the inside as well as the outside provided the guiding structure. Chorda was the second in a series of video works with reference to wave surface and notion. The video camera was used as a drawing tool. The pulse of water waves on a sea surface – the movements of  the dancers’ bodies are analogous aspects of a physical reality.
