Francesc Torres: Personal Intersection

Francesc Torrs makes the following observation of his installation: “What is conventionally considered as an ‘act of creation,’ as well as the decision of becoming an artist, is in no way a mysterious phenomenon. Both things are the logical result of the interaction of cultural, political, and economic factors acting upon the artist of future artist starting at birth. In psychology, this phenomenon is called conditioning. This installation was a consideration of this fact.”
