White Columns is proud to present a solo project by the Los Angeles-based artist Brian Kennon.

Presented in White Columns’ project space The Bulletin Board, a 6’ x 4’ glazed aluminum bulletin board installed in our lobby, Brian Kennon’s work – Untitled (Three Posters for Tangerine Dream) – consists of three posters designed by Kennon relating to the German progressive/space rock band Tangerine Dream. The first shows an image of the band in their mid-1970s heyday, the second depicts a collection of their album sleeves from 1970 – 1990, and the final poster consists of various images of space. Untitled (Three Posters for Tangerine Dream) continues Kennon’s ongoing research into the formal and psychological thresholds between art and popular culture.
