Billy Apple and Colin Greenly
January 31–February 19, 1976 112 Greene Street/WorkshopExhibition Description
Billy Apple roped off the left-hand section of the gallery beyond the stairwell. He hung tatters of cloth along the string to prevent people from tripping or crossing the boundary. The “rope-off” line formed a trapezoid. The height of the string was determined by the moulding on the wall.”
Colin Greenly’s Intangible Sculpture consisted of landscape photographs in which a straight line element was added.
