Exhibition Description
Aaron Kurzen presented assemblage sculptures called Reconstructions because the content of their imagery always referred in some way to the everyday paraphernalia (assorted shoes, bits of furniture, flatware, etc.) from which they were formed. The figures in which they were “reborn” ranged from bizarre to subtle.
